Maine Robotics Grants & Sponsors

The programs offered by Maine Robotics are funded by participating individuals and teams, but also through the generous support of our sponsors.

If you or your company are willing to help support these programs please contact the Director for more information.  All donations are tax deductible as Maine Robotics is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

    RIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting robotics at the high school level.

    Orono, Maine
    The UMaine College of Engineering has provided Maine Robotics with space and guidance over the years for which we are thankful.
Maine Maritime Academy
    Castine, Maine
    The MMA started supporting the FIRST LEGO League in 2005 and is continuing its support for both the FIRST LEGO League and the Spring Robot Track Meet.
School for Applied Sciences, Engineering, and Technology
    University of Southern Maine, Gorham
    ASET started supporting the FIRST LEGO League in 2005 and is continuing itssupport whenever possible.  In 2006 they also supported the Maine Robot Track Meet.  Since 2007 they have hosted summer camp on the Gorham campus.
Computer Science Department, University of Southern Maine
    CS has supported the summer camps on the Portland Campus since 2007.
Advanced Manufacturing Center
    University of Maine, Orono
    The AMC hosted Maine Robotics' summer camp program for 3 weeks during the summer of 2007 and was able to help secure a significant grant for new equipment purchase.

We received a donation from the Perloff's to purchase RoboLab Software in support of schools they work with throughout Maine.

Morton-Kelly Trust
We received a grant to support summer programs in the Portland, Falmouth, Lewiston/Auburn area.  The funds were used to purchase new equipment.

Maine Robotics received a grant in 2007 to assist in purchasing new equipment.

Helped provide general funds to support programs in Maine

FIRST
The Manchester New Hampshire organization that runs the FIRST LEGO League helped Maine Robotics put on a workshop in Southern Maine and to support the Southern Maine FIRST LEGO League tournament in 2005.
